  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Mix egg replacer with water and set aside
  3. Mix sugar and applesauce until thoroughly combined
  4. Add to the sugar and applesauce mixture the milk substitute, vanilla, vinegar and egg replacer mixture. Stir vigorously.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a separate bowl
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients – mix well
  7. Stir in the chocolate chips
  8. Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper and spread brownie mixture evenly
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes until cake tester or toothpick comes out clean
  10. Cool before cutting
