This “cheese” sauce is one of the best things about being a vegan. I get all of the cheesy flavor without the cholesterol, fat and other additives you get in animal-based cheese. My mouth and stomach are happy and so is the rest of me. A real perk about this sauce is that it is very versatile and easy to make. It goes great on enchiladas, potatoes, steamed veggies or used as one of the layers in a 7 layer dip. Let me know how you use it – I am sure you will come up with dozens of uses too!

I love this simple blender that I can put together in a snap. Easy to clean and very effective in doing whatever job I give it. It has several size containers that make it convenient to whip up a little or a lot. Plus, it travels very well and is a lot less cumbersome than my Vitamix.
This is great stuff! If you are not familiar with nutritional yeast it will give a nice cheesy flavor to anything you add it to. Fortified with B12 (only two teaspoons per day will give you the RDA). It is the only natural food that is loaded with 9 complete amino acids. It also contains 14 minerals and 17 other vitamins. It is sometimes referred to as “nooch,” and is basically deactivated yeast sold in two forms: flakes and powder. It has a strong, savory, umami-like flavor that’s cheesy and nutty.
