Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Place tofu, cacao, syrup, applesauce, milk and coffee grinds into blender or food processor
  2. Process or blend until mixture is smooth
  3. Pour into prepared crust (see below) or you can use a store-bought crust (whole grain or graham cracker) – just check ingredients carefully
  4. Place pie in refrigerator for at least 12 hours until firmly set
Crust
  1. Place toasted nuts into food processor and process until medium fine mixture – set aside
  2. Place soaked, drained dates into food processor and process until finely chopped
  3. Add processed nuts to dates and mix until thoroughly incorporated
  4. Press mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie plate ensuring a fairly thicker layer along bottom
